Case Studies
e-newsletters and e-commerce.
At the same time, we specialize in looking at the complete e-business vision, writing the web strategy plan, facilitate the implementation of the plan and help you manage your new capabilities.
Here are a few examples.
Gotta Have A Site!
Problem
Disability Devices, Inc. (DDI)
is a small Southern California
business specializing in provid-
ing "detectable waring mats" to
contractors and facility managers.
These are the bumpy mats that
we see in front of most buildings
and transportation facilities.
More and more project architects
and contrators let them know that
they expected to be able to go to the company web site to get product information, specifications and drawings. Their competition was
already on the Net and DDI was losing business. They needed a
web site FAST!
Solution
The company owner turned to e-Focus and signed up to attend the 1 DAY Web Express workshop and in just 1 DAY they had a basic site. But the owner needed more and he knew that he would not have the time or skills to do it. So he retained e-Focus to take the site he built at the workshop and add the ability for site visitors to see example projects and download drawings.
In the next phases we will add an online store and a company newsletter. Click on the site picture to see his site.
Plan For Success
Problem
Virtual CEO, Inc. is a company
specializing in a new and innovative
why for companies to conduct annual
company assessments and strategic
planning. They had spent hundreds
of thousands in developing their
software and over 2 years training
and certifying a network of over 600
independent business consultants.
The problem - the consultants were
not selling and as a result they were
not generating any revenue and were
burning through their precious venture
capital. They needed a "plan for success."
Solution
Virtual CEO's primary customers are C-Level executives, i.e. company boards, CEO's, presidents, and senior executives. But to this group is difficult to say the least.
The solution - Create a cooperative online marketing support program for the consultants that generated a consistant flow of qualified leads. The plan was to purchase list of C-Level executives that included fax and e-mail . We would then produce a series of personalized fax and e-mail broadcasts designed to drive interested executives to a new web site that we named "Plan For Success."
The custom marketing site was separate from the Virtual CEO corporate site and has only one function - generate a qualified. lead. These leads are automatically forwarded to the consultants participating in the co-op program. Also, the lead automatically receives a series of follow-up e-mails that educate him on the Virtual CEO services and online planning process.
e-Commerce For All
Problem
Another attendee of the 1 DAY Web
Express Workshop was the owner
of a small distributor of wireless
communication products. After con-
sulting with the owner we found that
he was looking to phase out his
existing business and get into the
e-commerce business.
His idea was to develop a e-commerce
site with the quality appearance and
capabilities similar to Buy.com and then
to offer the ability to customize the site for
high traffic web sites such as MP3.com,
manage and facilitate all sales and split
the profits with his "super affiliate" partners.
Solution
We helped the owner refine the vision, draft the web strategy, research the right development partner, supervise site development, assist with product research and develop site marketing strategy. In just a short time eStorz.com was born and they had their first customer MP3.eStorz.com.
e-Church - More Than A Web Site
Problem
Life Church is a growing church in
south Orange County California. They
had developed an attractive web site
where potential and existing church
members could go to learn about the
church and get access to the weekly
worship and message videos.
The site was developed using Flash
which resulted in a very nice looking
site but to make changes to the site
required a programmer. Also, it did
not give them the ability to coordinate
their growing church community.
Solution
We created the Life Church e-Community for them using one of our solutions providers, Intranets.com. Using this service we were able to quickly customize the color, add the church logo, set access privileges, create a church calendar, post announcements, conduct polls and discussion groups, and much more that what is available on the traditional web site.
